Google Nexus One phone is being launched today in the US — do you think this will “eat” Apple entirely or not threaten Apple’s (iPhone) supremacy? Or will it just become another (important) player in the market but not big enough to eliminate Apple out of the game?

Have you heard of the recent trouble Gordon Brown got himself into by making comments about an elderly woman while not realising he was still wearing a microphone? Later on he had to apologise in public and in person to her — but do you think this was just an elaborated act to get him more press coverage (after all there are so many PR guru’s around him!) or was it genuinely a mistake?

If you watched the “Dr Who” episode this weeked, you probably know that the episode ended half the way through the actual action — and as such we are left waiting for another 7 days! B***rds! Should they be allowed to do this with programmes that air only once a week or should this only be acceptable for the likes of Coronation Street, Eastenders etc where the audience has only a 24 hour wait till next episode?

Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant are to produce a new show called “Life’s Too Short” about the day-to-day frustration of a dwarf (with the pilot episode to be screened on BBC2). Do you think this will make it just as big as “The Extras” and “The Office”? Another BAFTA perhaps? Or will it be a flop?

Now that the airports have been allowed to reopen across UK, do you find the noise of the airplanes above the capital a relief or an annoyance?

For the last few days as you know the volcano erruption in Iceland has paralysed the Northern Europe airspace — with no hopes of things going back to normal that soon as it seems the ash is now about to reach the Eastern Coast of USA. What do you think can be done to get planes flying again and bring things back to normal? For instance, do you reckon lining up people on the West Coast of Britain and getting them all to blow air towards the volcano would help? Any other whacky ideas you can think of?

Have you heard of the recent rift in between the “Dragons” Duncan Bannatyne and James Caan? The former has expressed his strong views about James Caan’s non-dom taxes regime. This was aggravated it seems by Caan’s comments about investing alongside people with criminal records (which could be seen as a dig at Bannatyne’s dishonourable discharge as a teenager from the navy). The show is still set to go ahead according to the BBC but do you think we will see some fireworks in the new series from the 2 Dragons or do you think it will go as “smoothly” as before?

The lineout for Glastonbury 2010 has been announced and includes names like Snoop Dogg, Pet Shop Boys, U2 and Stevie Wonder. Do these names put you off the idea of going or make you even more want to get some tickets — or are you not going to go the “mud bath” that Glasto proved to be lately?

Susan Boyle is said to be working on a duet with Snoop Doggy Dogg — what is to come out of that, do you reckon?
